The BPO is situated in Sarjapur Road.
Initially it will be only international out-bound calls.
More than 200 were counseled and 40 have been shortlisted finally.
These are only educated women, all above the age of 35years, but nobody with a previous job experience.
They were trained rigorously for 15days at their regional office in Bangalore.
Travel time is less than 10minutes to reach their office from the comforts of their houses.
Travel distance is not more than 200mtrs, so working in shifts is no hassle.
Salary is as per regular industry standards.
Like I had told you, the place is fully furnished and equipped to staff 40people per shift, so it will suit future expansions.
Refreshment facilities for each shift is provided, so the staff need not go out of the office.
We will be guided by experts from the Company on every matter, and regularly monitored on-site.
Three months from today, the excellent performers of this batch will be handpicked to train more women, and by January End 2011, all the vacancies will be filled from locally available talent. Our dream is to reach all towns across Karnataka by October 2011 and see that atleast 5000 women to find decent employment. BPO is being hit by attrition and committed staff is hard to find now a days because of the stress. This measure initiated by rrnews is sure to help women are employed and committed work force is available for the industry.
